Mr Gip's Kitchen - Short Story About Life Experience

As A Muslim who can't eat pork visiting Bali, the culture shock that I feel the most is there are so many pork dishes. I'm not upset because of it, but somehow if we claim muslim while ordering food, the waiter will serve us slower.

I understand that probably they make sure our dish contains no pork in the form of respect. But this happens every time Im bout to eat for 7 days at any restaurant that I go to and it kind of makes me upset. 

I'm not upset about the tradition, it's probably because of the hunger that I must hold for a long time over and over again. My plan for having fun in that place is ruined because of this.

Moreover, when I returned to my home, out of nowhere, one of my neighbors suddenly raised a pig. Let's call him Mr. Gip, he is famous for his hobby of raising weird animals such as reptiles, mammals, etc. But again, this pig things just make me more pissed.

I told my story in Bali to my neighbour friends like

'How the f I keep meeting pork dish in Bali then when I go home I still meet pig?' and my friends laugh about it.

In our group theres a down syndrome girl named Nay, and because of we talk so much fun I made a crazy joke about it.

'Like we're muslims, dude, no particular reason that we need to raise a pig, its haraam. If u want to be acknowledged for something haram, you can just ask Nay to piss around all over your house'.

We all laughed and some of us responded to my jokes like

'Nay..! go piss to Mr. Pig's kitchen right now' and we laugh more about it. We had no intention to bully nay at all. but.. Nay just nodded that time, then went away. 

We thought that Nay understood enough about it just a joke. But we turned out wrong, even though in her adult body, her tought is still childhood, and yes, right after that, Nay really pissed in Mr. Gip's kitchen.

What is Tobrut Means in Indonesia?

In slang terms, Tobrut was an anagram of 'Toket Brutal', wh ich  in English 'toket' could be translated as 'tits/boobs/breast' and 'brutal' to describe it's size as something massive.
