A story from Haji Agus Salim when he was attending the coronation of Queen Elizabeth replacing the throne of King George VI who died in 1953. At the moment before the ceremony, Prince Philip was in the middle of a gathering of some elite figures of England.

He seemed a little awkward to leaving the table, meanwhile, there were several big guests from other nations that he should meet and greeted.

Haji Agus Salim which is smoking a cigar suddenly waves it to Prince Philip and the smell of it attracts the attention of the other guest. Haji Agus Salim then asked,

"your majesty, have you ever smelled a cigarette like this?"

"I don't think I've ever smelled it, sir"

"This is what caused some people of your nations to come to my country"

Prince Phillip laughed and that conversation break the ice of the conference, so Prince Philip was a bit relaxed to ask permission to leave the circle and then welcome the other guest.
